The Santa Express

On Saturday, Grandpa and Grandma were gracious to buy us all tickets to climb aboard the "Santa Express" via the Cooperstown and Charlotte Valley Railway. We kept it a secret from the kids until we pulled into the train yard. Ryan started grinning as soon as he saw the train, and he didn't stop until we got back to Grandpa and Grandma's house that evening.

The train ride was a 2 hour trip from Milford to Cooperstown (and back), and along the way we got a cup of hot cocoa and some cookies, and the kids got presents from Santa Claus, himself.

We really enjoyed our day together, and the snow flurries that were falling were an added bonus, and really made it quite festive.
